Your Development

Committed to Your Training and Growth

Advancing our goals…and yours

Ipsen is committed to the training and development of all of its employees. This commitment begins at recruitment and continues throughout your time at Ipsen. All new employees are introduced to the nature and diversity of the Ipsen Group, including its Vision, Mission, Values and business focus.

In 1996, Ipsen implemented the Ipsen Development and Education Academy (IDEA), a new group-wide framework of core corporate programs. Since then, IDEA has evolved to support the philosophy of corporate culture, people management and development. IDEA is oriented toward six principal goals:

• Building core competencies

• Integrating new employees

• Developing young professionals

• Raising performance of supervisors through the Managers college

• Honing leadership skills through the Leaders college

• Clearly communicating Ipsen’s image

In addition to IDEA, specific technical skills and professional development are addressed within each business unit. This ensures a holistic approach to maintaining and developing the skill base and managerial expertise of Ipsen employees.

A significant mechanism for the identification of training and development needs is the Ipsen Performance Appraisal Process (IPAP), which facilitates regular discussions between employees and their managers, regarding personal objectives and development needs.
